Roubo

Fall 2014

- This project was based off of an ancient technique known as the roubo folding book stand. It was a simple woodworking project involving the lamination of soft maple and purple heart. The hinges were carved with a chisel and the block was then cut down the middle to break it into two pieces; creating its unique hinge.
