Sowinski Sullivan
was commissioned to redesign several of Amtrak's ticket counters in a variety of locations throughout the United States. Of these projects, two cities' stations are being shown on the left: Fort Worth, Texas and Syracuse, New York. These stations did not previously meet ADA standards and needed to match Amtrak's new design standard that they were implementing in their latest stations. Under the guidance of my project leader, I was the main drafter for these drawings. I drew the existing conditions of the stations and assisted in the development of their new designs and details. I created nearly all of these drawings and worked with the electrical engineers to integrate their designs with ours. These drawings were created in AutoCAD.
